Assembly Operator

Title: Production Operator 1

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL 60089

Shift: 1st shift(6:00 am to 2:30 pm)
Pay: $18.38/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 months
No. of hours: 40 hrs. per week with possibility of OT

Job Summary:
Seeking reliable candidates with hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience for a fast-paced production environment. Candidates must be comfortable working with tools, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25 lbs & have reliable transportation for commute.

Key Requirements:
• Hands-on assembly/manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience in production, food service, automotive/mechanical work, or similar hands-on environments
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Comfortable standing throughout shift and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Reliable transportation required
• Fast learner with good attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to follow directions
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Good attendance and reliability
• Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities:
• Assemble, test, and package electronic/mechanical products
• Follow written and verbal work instructions
• Maintain quality and production standards
• Move materials and parts as needed
• Rotate between departments/workstations
• Report quality or process issues to supervisors

Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
