Patient Scheduler and Referral Coordinator/Hinkapin Health

Hinkapin Health makes surgery simpler through coordinated care. We are looking for someone who can help patients navigate their surgical care and take ownership of keeping every referral moving forward. This role is central to the patient experience. The candidate must be able to speak with patients clearly on the phone and also through email and text. The candidate guides the patient through next steps, manages referrals in our system, coordinates appointments with physician and or facilities, keep records and follow-ups current. The employee also coordinates responsibility with the team and makes sure tasks are completed within the timeframe assigned. Our ideal candidate has experience with patient coordination, referrals. medical office operations, or a similar role. Warm communication and consistent follow-through are essential. The candidate should be organized, dependable, comfortable learning software and able to work independently-with the judgment to resolve routine issues and recognize when they need help.
