AP Claims Processor (Contract) Boca Raton, FL (Onsite)

Are you detail-oriented and experienced in payment processing or accounts payable? We're seeking an AP Claims Processor for a short-term contract opportunity with a growing organization in Boca Raton. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and problem-solving.

Position Details

• Location: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite)
• Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Duration: Approximately 1-3 months
• Start Date: ASAP
• Overtime may be required

Responsibilities

• Review and verify claims payment requests for accuracy
• Validate payment amounts and coding information
• Confirm payee details against policy documents and contracts
• Review prior payments and identify discrepancies
• Communicate with claims personnel to resolve payment issues
• Document discrepancies and support timely payment processing
• Respond to inquiries regarding checks and payment status
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of accounting, accounts payable, payment processing, or related experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
