• Prepare and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery responses with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
• Conduct depositions, oversee written discovery, evaluate evidence, and build case theories that support favorable outcomes for injured clients.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, negotiations, and trial proceedings while advocating effectively before courts and opposing counsel.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, insurance representatives, medical providers, and internal staff to keep matters moving efficiently.
• Supervise and guide a litigation support team, providing direction, oversight, and accountability across active case files.
• Handle pre-suit negotiations when appropriate and assess opportunities to resolve claims before formal litigation is necessary.
• Work on matters involving commercial vehicle collisions and expand litigation capability in trucking-related injury cases as needed.• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas and good standing with the state bar.
• At least 5 years of experience handling personal injury litigation, preferably on the plaintiff side.
• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials in civil litigation matters.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, courts, and legal teams.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and case management skills with careful attention to detail.
• Trial experience and familiarity with commercial motor vehicle or trucking litigation are valued; Spanish language ability is a plus.
