About the Role

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing company in Canton, Ohio to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This hybrid position is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, vendor management, and account reconciliation who is seeking long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor setup.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and build positive relationships.
• Support month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable experience required.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred.
