Practice Setting

• Medical setting includes both inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care
• General orthopedics coverage with Level 2 trauma center responsibilities
• Clinic support includes APPs, availability varies with current volumes, no supervision required

Schedule

• Full-time coverage need, inclusive of inpatient and outpatient services
• Call requirement is 10 to 11 days per month
• Call shifts run 7am to 7am

Cases and Procedures

• Full-scope outpatient orthopedics, including elective surgery
• ED and ER coverage and follow-ups from call
• MSK trauma cases and emergent surgeries, trauma background preferred

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Michigan license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only
• BLS required
