Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 17:00–05:00 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and disposition
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months is required and must be clearly documented on candidate profile, including where Epic was utilized; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed)
• Availability to work a minimum of two weekends per month as needed
• Availability to work one of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate as travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC or PHTLS certification preferred
• Ultrasound-guided IV placement experience preferred
