Bank Teller Supervisor

Position Title:  Teller Supervisor

Purpose:  Support and assist in overall office operations by ensuring compliance with internal control standards and procedures, applicable banking regulations, legal requirements and customer service standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring our customers receive fast, friendly service, and directing the day-to-day operational activities of the branch. 
• Directly supervises tellers to ensure positive customer experience
• Trains staff on operational issues
• Knowledge of policies and procedures
• Makes judgment decisions
• Coaches other employees
• Helps to research and resolve problems
• Performs teller transactions
• Works in coordination with the Branch Manager and is responsible for the operational integrity of the retail office.
• May be called on to oversee the office in the Branch Manager's absence, 

Minimum requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years teller experience or equivalent retail or cash handling
• 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in a bank environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer skills with proficiency in Windows based applications
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to lift coin trays and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work some Saturday mornings based on branch needs

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the customer service industry
• Math skills: counting cash drawer
