Pop-A-Lock is looking for a skilled and reliable Emergency Roadside Assistance Mechanic to join our team as an Independent Contractor in Brooklyn, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to be your own boss while helping drivers in need — when it matters most. Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency roadside assistance calls throughout the Brooklyn, NY service area
• Perform on-site vehicle services including jump starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and lockouts
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers regarding ETA and service status
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job completed
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and service vehicle are properly maintained and road-ready
• Uphold Pop-A-Lock's standards for customer service and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or roadside assistance technician
• Strong knowledge of emergency roadside procedures
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must have reliable transportation and basic tools/equipment for roadside service
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as a contractor
• Android Phone (No iphones, our app only works on Android.
