Overnight Welding Rod Attendant

Position Description: Job SummaryElevate Workforce is seeking a dependable Overnight Welding Rod Attendant / Material Handler for an industrial project in Abilene, TX.The selected candidate will receive training to distribute welding rods to the client during overnight operations. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.Job ResponsibilitiesThe primary confirmed responsibility is:Issue welding rods to the client as needed throughout the overnight shift.Additional responsibilities to confirm with the client may include:Track welding rod distribution and maintain accurate records.Organize and maintain welding rod inventory.Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing welding supplies.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow site safety procedures and material-handling guidelines.QualificationsSuggested candidate qualifications — pending client confirmation:Previous warehouse, material handling, inventory, or tool crib experience preferred.Familiarity with welding supplies or industrial materials is a plus.Basic recordkeeping and organizational skills.Ability to follow instructions and learn new procedures.Dependable transportation and consistent attendance.Ability to work overnight shifts, six nights per week.Comfortable working in an industrial or construction environment.Training will be provided for issuing welding rods.Additional RequirementsDrug screening, background checks, fitness testing, lifting requirements, and required PPE are pending client confirmation. $24.00 - $25.00 Hourly
