Job Description
Job Title: Lab Technician Location: Chanhassen, MN Work Model: On-Site Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00/hr Type: 8-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities
- Support senior scientific staff on assigned projects
- Perform laboratory experiments and testing
- Record, organize and communicate results/data from experiments and testing
- Maintain laboratory and storage areas, as well as equipment
- Be a role player on 5S and Lab Safety programs for Product Development
- Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies
- B.Sc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field
- Hands on laboratory experience handling chemicals and various mixing and dispensing equipment
- Mechanical aptitude, technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Good communication skills
- Experience with MS Office suite and other common technical software packages
