$18 - $21 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a smooth and safe school pick-up, creating a welcoming transition from school to home.
- Supervise and assist with homework, fostering a productive and supportive learning environment.
- Plan and engage in fun, educational activities that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
- Encourage outdoor play to promote physical activity and a love for nature.
- Communicate openly with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a nurturing and positive atmosphere that supports each child's emotional well-being.
- Adapt to the unique needs and interests of each child, ensuring personalized care and attention.
Qualifications:
- Experience in professional childcare for at least three years, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment.
- Ability to manage school pick-up and drop-off efficiently, prioritizing children's safety and comfort.
- Able to provide at least 2 childcare references (nannying, babysitting, daycare, nursery, after-school programs, summer camps, etc.)
- Strong communication skills to effectively update parents on their child's progress and daily activities.
- Ability to supervise and assist with homework, fostering an environment that encourages academic growth.
- Experience in promoting outdoor play and physical activities, supporting a healthy and active lifestyle for children.
- Capability to collaborate with parents to align on routines and expectations, ensuring consistency in care and support for the child's development.
