Logistics Coordinator

Helix Resources is seeking a dependable and organized Logistics Coordinator in Berwick, LA. This position will primarily focus on coordinating boat and barge logistics, scheduling movements, communicating with vessel operators, and helping ensure marine transportation operations run smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience coordinating marine or industrial logistics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate boat and barge movements, schedules, and daily logistics.

• Communicate with captains, vessel operators, dispatchers, and other personnel.

• Track vessel locations, schedules, and operational activities.

• Coordinate transportation needs, deliveries, and scheduling changes.

• Maintain accurate records, logs, and logistics documentation.

• Communicate updates and resolve scheduling or operational issues as they arise.

• Work with internal teams and external contacts to support efficient marine operations.

• Follow applicable company procedures and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, marine operations, or transportation coordination preferred.

• Familiarity with boats, barges, and marine transportation is a plus.

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency with computers, email, and basic recordkeeping.

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with a team.

Compensation

• Pay: $25.00 per hour
