Job Description
Heavy-Duty Trailer Systems Technician — Lenexa, KSA day in the life

You clock in at our Lenexa shop and start with a safety check of the day’s lineup of semi trailers. One unit needs a brake service, another has lighting faults, and a third is in for a suspension inspection. You pull service history, consult technical manuals, trace an electrical issue with a multimeter, and document every repair step in our system. Between jobs, you collaborate with teammates to keep turnaround times tight and step out to explain recommended upgrades and maintenance options to a client. By day’s end, each trailer is safe, compliant, and road-ready—thanks to your diagnostic skill and attention to detail.

What you’ll handle
  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on semi trailers, including brake systems, lighting/electrical circuits, and suspensions.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and resolve them for optimal performance.
  • Complete safety and compliance inspections; identify and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Record all services and parts used with clear, accurate documentation.
  • Partner with team members to meet timelines and quality standards.
  • Keep current with industry standards, emerging practices, and OEM guidance.
  • Deliver professional customer service and explain repair findings and maintenance plans clearly.
What makes you a great fit
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred.
  • Hands-on experience repairing or maintaining semi trailers or closely related heavy-duty equipment.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical bulletins.
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator who works well within a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Open to flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Why join us

Our Lenexa facility is built around craftsmanship and reliability. If you take pride in top-tier work and want to be part of a team that values quality and service, you’ll feel at home here.
