• Install stairs, ladders, platforms, catwalks, grating, handrail, embeds, and equipment frames.

• Build pipe racks, mezzanines, and support steel for chilled-water piping, cable tray, busway, and liquid-cooling

• Rig, hoist, and set members with cranes, come-alongs, and chain falls; act as rigger or signal person when

qualified.

• Bolt, torque, weld, and plumb connections to drawings and AISC/AWS standards; close connection punch lists.

• Lay out from control, check elevations and plumb, flag drawing conflicts, and coordinate with other trades so

embeds and support steel land correctly.

Requirements

• 2+ years of ironworking on commercial, industrial, or heavy-civil structural steel, or equivalent military structural or

• Reads structural and erection drawings and works to AISC connection details.

• Hands-on structural bolt-up and cutting; safe use of aerial lifts, ladders, and material-handling equipment.

• Works at heights, outdoors, and in varying weather, including extended hours, nights, and weekends.

• Strong safety mindset; follows fall protection, crane, rigging, hot-work, and LOTO rules.

Pluses

• Journey-level experience (union or non-union) or a completed ironworker apprenticeship.

• AWS D1.1 structural welding; NCCCO rigger or signal person certification.

• OSHA 10 or 30; fall protection competent person.

• Hyperscale data center, power plant, or mission-critical steel; pipe rack and equipment support steel.
