Job Duties
- Perform general facility and grounds maintenance.
- Assist with plumbing, drywall, painting, framing, and other remodeling projects.
- Complete basic electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Maintain equipment such as lawnmowers, forklifts, weed eaters, and blowers.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation.
- Pick up and deliver parts and materials as needed.
- Follow all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver's License required.
- Maintenance, mechanical, or trade school training is a plus.
Experience Requirements
- Previous facility maintenance, building maintenance, or general labor experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and safety awareness skills.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic are essential.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment, power tools, and groundskeeping machinery.
- Must follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
