What You’ll Do As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential, non-medical support to help our Veteran client maintain comfort, safety, independence, and daily routine at home.

• Personal Care & Mobility: Assist client with transfers, mobility support (wheelchair care), and personal care routines.
  
  
• Pet Care Assistance: Help care for the client's 4 dogs (feeding, letting them out, light pet care support).
  
  
• Daily Support: Assist with medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  
  
• Companionship: Provide empathetic, attentive, and respectful companionship.
  
  
• Maintain open, reliable communication with our administrative team.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Age & Education: Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  
  
• Dog-Friendly: Must be comfortable and happy working in a home with 4 dogs.
  
  
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active car insurance.
  
  
• Character: A genuinely caring heart for Veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, paired with strong reliability and attention to detail.
  
  

Hours for this Wamego placement are case-dependent (TBD), with strong potential for expanded hours or additional local client placements as care needs grow.
