Hiring Immediately! Join the ComForCare Dream Team as a dependable, experienced caregiver for our Weekend Warrior team. This on-call position provides in-home care coverage for clients when regularly scheduled caregivers are unavailable.

Schedule & Pay

• On-call hours: Friday at 3 PM through Monday at 7 AM
  
  
• Minimum commitment: 2 weekends per month
  
  
• Weekend stipend: $200 per assigned weekend
  
  
• Hourly pay: $17/hour for all hours worked during care shifts
  
  
• Payday: Biweekly Fridays via direct deposit
  
  
• Potential availability of a company vehicle
  
  

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to last-minute staffing needs and provide compassionate, reliable in-home care throughout Lenawee, Jackson, and Hillsdale counties. Travel between client homes as needed.

Care duties may include:

• Personal care, bathing, dressing, and brief changes
  
  
• Safe transfers and use of patient lifts
  
  
• Vital signs, weights, and catheter bag care
  
  
• Medication assistance
  
  
• Meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping
  
  
• Transportation and other client-specific care needs
  
  

Caregivers use a smartphone app to access shift details, directions, and client care information.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional caregiving experience in a home care agency, nursing home, or similar setting
  
  
• Caregiver, CNA, or Medical Assistant experience preferred
  
  
• Dependable, compassionate, flexible, and responsive
  
  
• Comfortable providing care to male and female clients in a variety of home environments
  
  
• Ability to travel throughout the service area on short notice
  
  
• Smartphone access and ability to use scheduling and care apps
  
  
• Professional appearance and required scrubs
  
  
• Availability to respond promptly to calls throughout assigned weekends
  
  

Important: This is a true on-call position. Assignments may arise at any time during the scheduled weekend, and travel between counties may be required. Applicants must be prepared for unpredictable shifts and variable rest periods between assignments.

Training & Getting Started

Completion of 7.75 hours of required Relias training is mandatory before starting. Training is paid and must be completed within one day.
