Aligned Talent Acquisition is partnering with a nationally recognized Am Law firm seeking a talented Corporate / M&A Associate Attorney to join its established Business practice in Chicago, IL.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated transactional work and wants to take on meaningful responsibility, work directly with clients, and collaborate with experienced partners on complex business transactions across a variety of industries.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of corporate and transactional experience, including M&A and/or venture capital transactions.

• Experience drafting and negotiating transactional agreements and corporate documents.

• Strong understanding of corporate transactions and deal execution.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

• Sound business judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• A collaborative, team-oriented approach to working with colleagues and clients.

The Opportunity

The firm's established corporate practice advises businesses and investors on sophisticated transactions across a broad range of industries.

Attorneys will have opportunities to:

• Work on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, and general corporate matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents.

• Manage deal execution and coordinate with clients and internal teams.

• Work closely with experienced partners and develop meaningful client relationships.
