Warehouse Worker - 1st Shift - Now Hiring

As a warehouse worker, you will perform various duties based on distribution center needs. You will be cross-trained in other departments as necessary and may be tasked with special projects. Your role will include handling merchandise manually, fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining inventory organization.

• Load and unload trailers manually while ensuring safe handling of merchandise.
• Pick, inspect, and verify products to accurately fulfill customer orders.
• Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Stock and organize inventory to maintain product availability.
• Route completed orders to the appropriate department or shipping area.
• Maintain and update pick locations using warehouse reports and inventory information.
• Sort, process, label, and ticket merchandise for distribution and retail locations.
• Process customer returns and ensure proper handling of returned products.
• Clean, inspect, and repair various reel models, including determining warranty eligibility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Experience in loading and unloading trailers.
• Ability to inspect parts and ensure quality.
• Skills in picking and packing orders.
• At least 1 year of experience in general labor or warehouse work.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Experience in warehouse packing and material handling.
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.

• 1st Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Valid ID required to enter the building.
• Ability to bring only clear bags into the facility.

Work in a large distribution center environment where cell phones are not allowed on the shop floor. You must go through a metal detector with security before entering the floor. Only clear bags are permitted in the facility, and any non-clear bags must be left in your vehicle.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prairie Du Chien, WI.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
