Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for sorting and separating ferrous and non-ferrous metals based on their physical characteristics and material grades. You will organize and prepare materials for processing while ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Safety is paramount, and you will follow all procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals based on physical characteristics and material grades.
• Organize and prepare materials for processing while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to facility guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and general labor.
• Proficiency in packing, picking, packaging, inventory, and material handling.
• Ability to unload and load heavy materials.
• Machine operation skills.
• Experience with hand tools, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order picking.
• Ability to perform assembly and warehouse packing tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Capability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including shoveling heavy materials.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures and conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
