Welder

Pay: $24-$27/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM

Location: Lyons, SD

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a growing manufacturing team building high-quality fire truck components. This role involves welding, fabrication, and assembly of aluminum and steel parts while following blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and steel components
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, and inspection equipment
• Identify and correct quality issues during production
• Assist with fabrication and brake press operations
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding required
• Previous fabrication, welding, and brake press experience preferred
• Welding diploma or certification preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately
• Able to lift and manipulate heavy sheet metal parts and tooling
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
