- Stage production areas with empty containers and necessary supplies to prepare for the following shift.
- Assist with preparing and disassembling meat-processing equipment for operation or sanitation as directed.

- Provide break relief to co-workers, which may include temporarily working in other production positions.
- Accurately complete all assigned paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
- Assist in training new employees by demonstrating correct procedures and helping ensure accurate understanding of job duties.
- Check in with the area leadership at the end of the shift to receive any additional pass-down or shutdown activities that must be completed before leaving.

- Capability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards, accurate labeling, and proper documentation.
- Dependable and reliable work habits, including consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and work under minimal supervision.
- Effective and clear communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to report issues and coordinate with team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in general labor, general production, packing, food manufacturing, food production, or cold storage environments is beneficial.
- Experience in roles such as line cook or food preparation is helpful for understanding food handling and safety practices.
- Comfort operating basic material handling equipment such as a manual hand jack.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes, including checking labels and code dates.
- Ability to learn and apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP requirements in daily work.
- Willingness to cross-train and perform multiple tasks within the production area.
Why Work Here?
Employees join a modern, clean facility that prioritizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role offers an opportunity to build foundational experience in manufacturing and meat processing, with clear potential to grow into other positions as skills and knowledge develop. Team members work in an environment that values reliability, collaboration, and attention to detail, providing a solid platform for long-term career growth in production operations.
Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing setting with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and elevated work areas. Team members regularly work in both colder environments, around 30 degrees, and warmer temperature zones, and should be comfortable with a consistently high noise level.
