Mechanical Technician - Now Hiring

As a Mechanical Technician, you will primarily engage in welding and moving machinery using stick and TIG welding techniques. Your role involves disassembling and reassembling machinery, relocating and upgrading equipment in industrial plants, and installing production lines and conveyor systems for manufacturing facilities. You will also be responsible for fabricating and welding steel using MIG and STICK methods, moving materials, and gathering necessary tooling.

• Perform welding and moving machinery operations using stick and TIG welding.
• Disassemble, reassemble, relocate, and upgrade machinery in industrial plants.
• Install production lines and conveyor systems for manufacturing plants.
• Fabricate and weld steel using MIG and STICK methods.
• Move materials and gather required tooling.

• Experience in machine installation, conveyor systems, and construction.
• Proficiency in stick and TIG welding.
• Skilled in using hand tools with mechanical ability.
• Willingness to learn millwright work.

• Basic hand tools and weld tools knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to work within a one-hour radius around Lima, OH.

Enjoy working at client sites within a one-hour radius around Lima, OH, offering the opportunity to engage in diverse projects with a standard working week of 40+ hours from Monday to Friday.

The position is based in Lima, OH, primarily at client sites. Work is conducted during the first shift, typically from 7 AM to 4 PM, with slight adjustments possible.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lima, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
