This role is a great fit for candidates with assembly, manufacturing, production, mechanical, warehouse, or general labor experience.

Responsibilities

Assemble products and components using hand and power tools

Perform mechanical assembly and production tasks

Follow blueprints, work instructions, and production documents

Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools

Package, kit, and prepare products for shipment

Load and position materials for assembly and production processes

Record production information using basic computer systems

Support inventory, material handling, and warehouse activities as needed

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements

6+ months of manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or general labor experience

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Experience using hand tools and power tools

Ability to read a tape measure

Blueprint reading experience is a plus

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

Strong attention to detail and quality

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hiawatha, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
