Warehouse Worker

As a Warehouse Worker, your main duties will include shipping and receiving tasks, preparing panels for shipment by building pallets, and ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed. You will need to measure and cut wood as required, potentially operating a table saw. The role involves using hand and power tools, utilizing Microsoft Office and other Windows programs for shipping tasks, and packing and wrapping large boxes while lifting heavy items. Once certified, you will also operate a forklift.

• Perform shipping and receiving duties efficiently.
• Prepare panels for shipment by building pallets.
• Ensure all shipping paperwork is completed accurately.

• Use hand and power tools for various tasks.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and other Windows programs for shipping processes.
• Pack and wrap large boxes, ensuring they are secure for transport.
• Lift heavy items as part of daily tasks.
• Operate a forklift upon certification.

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• At least 6 months of forklift experience.
• Ability to read a ruler accurately.
• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Skill in wrapping skids and labeling products.
• Proficiency in using computers.

• Mechanical experience is a plus.
• Experience in machine operation is desirable.

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility on the first shift from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. With a small team of 20 employees on the manufacturing floor, the environment is comfortable and focused. Safety glasses and steel-toed boots are required, but ear protection is not necessary as the workspace is not excessively loud.

This is a Contract position based out of Berkeley, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
