Delivery Driver | Brooklyn, NY | $19/hour

Job Description

We are hiring a Delivery Driver to make food deliveries throughout New York City. This position is based out of Brooklyn and involves driving a company delivery van, loading and unloading products, and completing assigned delivery routes. Company vehicle provided.

Pay: $19/hour

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: Monday-Saturday, typically 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or until the route is completed

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries throughout NYC and the five boroughs
• Load and unload delivery vans
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
• Use a scan gun to track deliveries and inventory
• Ensure orders are complete and delivered accurately
• Provide friendly and professional customer service

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• No CDL or special driver's license required
• Delivery driving experience preferred
• Comfortable driving throughout NYC
• Able to load and unload products and perform physical work
• Reliable and punctual is a MUST
• Good communication and customer service skills

Work Environment

This position is based at a food distribution facility in Brooklyn. Drivers will load their vans at the facility and complete deliveries throughout NYC. The job is active and requires regular lifting, bending, and loading/unloading.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Brooklyn, NY.

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $37440.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
