- Assist in stacking packed cartons onto pallets, ensuring they are secure, stable, and ready for warehouse distribution.
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including proper use of hairnets, beard coverings, and frequent hand washing and sanitizing.
- Maintain a clean, debris-free workstation throughout the shift and participate in end-of-shift clean-up and sanitation of production machinery and surrounding areas.
- Follow all plant safety rules and food safety procedures to protect product quality and maintain a safe work environment.
- Work at a consistent pace to keep up with automated conveyor lines and production targets.
- Handle materials, boxes, and trays safely, including lifting, moving, and positioning them as needed during the packing process.
Essential Skills

- Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements to pack delicate items at a fast pace.
- Capability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally push or pull bins or racks.
- Comfort working in a hot production kitchen environment near commercial ovens, including humid conditions during summer months.
- Strong hand-eye coordination to handle and pack baked goods without damage.
- High attention to detail to identify defects and ensure accurate labeling.
- Ability to keep pace with an automated conveyor line in a production setting.
- Willingness and ability to adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screening and standard employment check.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

- General labor or production experience in packing, loading, unloading, or material handling is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with production lines, inventory handling, order picking, stacking, labeling, palletizing, or use of pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to follow a strict no-jewelry, no-fake-nails, and no-nail-polish policy on the production floor.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday on first, second, or third shift, with openness to overtime as needed.
Why Work Here?
This role offers a true entry point into the food production industry with fully paid, on-the-job training and no prior experience required. Full-time hourly positions provide access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid holidays to support long-term financial and personal well-being. High production demand creates predictable opportunities for overtime, allowing motivated employees to significantly increase their weekly earnings. The facility maintains a friendly, small-team atmosphere where people describe a close-knit, supportive culture with accessible local leadership. Employees also enjoy regular morale-building activities, localized workplace incentives, and the perk of free snacks and product take-home opportunities on production days.
Work Environment
The role is based in an SQF-certified, approximately 60,000 sq. ft. commercial food manufacturing facility operating Monday through Friday with multiple shifts, including first shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.), second shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.), and third shift (10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.). Work takes place on a production floor near commercial ovens, where temperatures can be warm and humidity can increase during summer months. Team members work on and around automated conveyor lines and packaging equipment, handling boxes, trays, and pallets, and may use basic material handling tools such as pallet jacks. The environment requires constant standing and walking, repetitive hand movements, and regular lifting of up to 25 pounds. Strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) apply, including the use of hairnets, beard coverings where applicable, and frequent hand washing and sanitizing. The dress code includes compliance with a no-jewelry, no-fake-nails, and no-nail-polish policy on the production floor to maintain food safety and product quality.
