Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $16 an hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for loading and unloading materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and utilizing a computerized inventory management system to track incoming and outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks while verifying shipment accuracy.
• Receive inbound products and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
• Enter shipment and inventory information into the company computer system.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed.
• Print shipping labels and prepare shipping documentation.
• Keep warehouse organized, clean, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Berwick, PA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
