We're seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Handler / Compost Technician to support production operations in a clean, modern food manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role responsible for supplying production areas with materials, maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, and managing compost and waste removal processes.

What You'll Do

• Deliver materials and supplies to production areas
• Verify materials are properly labeled and delivered to the correct location
• Review production schedules and prioritize material deliveries
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost throughout the facility
• Transport compost waste to outdoor collection areas
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and organize compost bins and containers
• Maintain clean and organized storage, production, and waste collection areas
• Clean spills and support sanitation efforts throughout the facility
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to supervisors
• Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, inventory, or food production experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and remain active throughout the shift

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean food manufacturing facility. Employees will work in warehouse and production areas supporting material movement, sanitation, and waste management operations. The facility is climate-controlled, though some production areas may be cooler. The role requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and moving materials throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ephrata, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
