Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment to produce steel and aluminum parts.
• Set up welding machines, adjust settings, and replace welding wire and tips as needed.
• Load and position parts on conveyor lines and designated work areas.
• Inspect finished products using visual checks, measurements, and blueprints to ensure quality standards are met.
• Report equipment issues to maintenance or supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Track daily production output, including part numbers and quantities completed.
• Use grinders and finishing tools to remove excess weld material and burrs.
• Monitor material inventory and communicate shortages to supervisors.

Essential Skills

• MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with flux core welding and fabrication.
• Welding certification preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous production welding experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple workstations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
