Industrial Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift

$22 to $30 an hour, plus a $0.50 an hour third shift premium. Full-time, direct hire, at a large manufacturing plant in the Mansfield area.

Second shift is open for the right person: about 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM plus a 30 minute handoff, with a $0.40 an hour premium.

The work:

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems to keep production running

- The floor runs in pods of machines, many custom-built for this plant, so no two are alike. Mechanical troubleshooting matters as much as electrical.

- PLCs, HMIs, safety controllers and 480V equipment and higher

- Read electrical and mechanical schematics and find failed components with a digital voltmeter

- Engineering and controls teams on site back up the maintenance crew

You need:

- Hands-on industrial maintenance experience, electrical and mechanical

- Basic PLC troubleshooting and 480V troubleshooting

- Able to work Fridays, plus overtime and some weekends when needed

- Pass a background check and a drug screen

- Authorized to work in the US. Visa sponsorship is not available.

- Live within about an hour of Mansfield. Relocation is not offered.

No degree required. Experience is what counts.

Schedule: third shift, Monday to Friday. Overtime is available now.
