Job Overview

We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 2+ years of litigation experience to handle a variety of complex legal matters. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills, with experience managing cases from initial pleadings through trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct discovery, including preparing discovery requests and responses.
• Manage court appearances, hearings, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Handle commercial and business litigation, trusts and estates disputes, employment matters, and general civil litigation.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties professionally.
• Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining high-quality legal work.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois.
• Must have experience in Handling commercial and business litigation, trusts and estates disputes, employment matters, and general civil litigation.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and case management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
