CDL A Feed Driver

Class A driver needed to organize, perform and complete the delivery of commercial bulk feeds in a safe and efficient manner

MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING 12-15 HR SHIFTS

MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE - NO EXCEPTIONS

MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE 10 / 13 SPEED TRANMISSIONS

MUST HAVE CURRENT OR PRIOR COMMODITY - WALKING FLOOR / BELT TRAILER EXPERIENCE

Operate truck in a safe and courteous manner. Safety is first in importance in every delivery task.

Maintain truck to include but not limited to pre-trip checks, following required DOT and other regulatory agency requirements.

Responsible for cleanliness of truck including regular washing and cleaning of exterior and interior.

Loads, reloads and assists other driving in loading as required.

Inspects hatches, augers and blowers to confirm they are operational and serviceable.

Responsible for ensuring feed is unloaded to the proper location/bin.

Ensures accuracy and proper completion of all scale tickets, delivery papers, driver logs and associated documentation.

Ability to maneuver around dairies with the possibility of traversing and selecting proper paths, obstacles may include piles of feed, hay bales, large puddles, deep mud, etc.

Must be able to safely and efficiently operate a Walking Floor and or a Belt Trailer, current or prior experience will receive priority, currently not open to training.
