Sanitation Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team in Cadott, Wisconsin. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment within a food processing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning and sanitation, with a strong focus on hygiene standards and safety protocols. THIS POSITION STARTS AT $16 BASE PAY WITH INCENTIVES FOR ATTENDANCE AND PERFORMANCE

Work Shifts:

The work shift is based on the tasks to be cleaned and the availability of areas after production finishes.

• 4pm - Finish (generally 11pm) is the general work schedule.
• Work Days: Generally Monday-Friday with some weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)

Work Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, equipment, and facilities using appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation in food production or manufacturing environments to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools efficiently for heavy-duty cleaning tasks.
• Follow detailed cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are sanitized regularly.
• Assist with waste removal and disposal according to safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional cleaning or maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities.

Experience

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred, especially within food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings
• Experience with commercial or heavy-duty cleaning equipment is advantageous
• Familiarity with sanitation standards specific to food processing or manufacturing environments is a plus
• Ability to perform some lifting and work efficiently in physically demanding situations
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial cleaning and sanitation practices
