Routing Shipping Lead

The Routing Shipping Lead reports to the Warehouse Manager and oversees outbound LTL freight routing and coordination in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. This role directly supervises 1–5 employees, maintains routine communication with carriers, and supports on-time delivery, routing accuracy, order compliance, invoicing, and billing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Route outbound LTL freight accurately and efficiently.
• Schedule freight pickups and deliveries.
• Oversee dispatch operations and shipment coordination.
• Directly supervise and support 1–5 employees.
• Communicate routinely with freight carriers.
• Administer warehouse management system activities.
• Process invoices and review billing for accuracy.
• Monitor on-time delivery, routing accuracy, invoice accuracy, and billing accuracy.
• Ensure order compliance while managing multiple priorities.

• Entry-level experience in shipping and logistics operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with LTL freight routing and scheduling.
• Experience using warehouse management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with invoice processing and billing review.
• Team leadership experience.
• Problem-solving skills and effective email communication.
• Bilingual communication skills.
