Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Akron, OH | Schedule: Full Time Contract | Shift: Nights 3X12

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period while working collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Accurately document patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Ohio.
• ADN or BSN.
• 2+ years of L&D experience
• Current BLS/ACLS, NRP, EFM, certifications.
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
