Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

A leading Tier 1 automotive supplier specializing in injection molding is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Support mold changes and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Injection molding experience strongly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must have excellent attendance and a strong commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
• Technical certificate or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electromechanical technology, or a related field.
• Electrical license or industrial maintenance certification.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting, electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, welding and fabrication, and preventive maintenance systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
