Sheet Metal Duct Installer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Duct Installer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for installing commercial HVAC ductwork systems on construction projects while ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedules. Candidates should have experience reading blueprints, installing duct systems, and working in commercial construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install rectangular, round, and spiral ductwork for commercial HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and mechanical plans.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal duct according to specifications.
• Install duct supports, hangers, dampers, diffusers, and related HVAC components.
• Seal and insulate ductwork to ensure proper airflow and system efficiency.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other HVAC installation equipment safely.
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on active construction sites.
• Perform jobsite layout and ensure installations meet quality standards.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience installing commercial HVAC ductwork.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Experience using sheet metal and HVAC installation tools.
• Strong knowledge of duct installation methods and industry standards.
• Ability to work at heights from ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
