LABOR COORDINATOR – VERNON, TX

Staff Zone is hiring an experienced Labor Coordinator to oversee our workforce on a major construction project in Vernon, Texas.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands construction, knows how to lead crews, and can maintain high standards for safety, productivity, attendance, and quality.

COMPENSATION: $55,000 Salary + Monthly Performance Bonus
LOCATION: Vernon, TX

HOURS: Monday-Saturday 6:30am - 4:30pm
POSITION: Full-Time | On-Site

REQUIREMENTS:

• Construction industry experience required
• Previous experience leading or supervising construction crews
• OSHA 30 Certification required or ability to obtain
• Lift Certification required
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Strong understanding of construction-site safety
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with project leadership and field employees
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable holding employees accountable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and oversee Staff Zone employees assigned to the project
• Manage daily workforce scheduling, deployment, and attendance
• Help recruit and maintain appropriate staffing levels as project needs change
• Conduct safety observations and reinforce OSHA and site-specific requirements
• Monitor employee performance, productivity, and quality
• Communicate daily with project leadership regarding manpower needs and performance
• Address attendance, safety, and performance issues
• Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and certifications
• Maintain accurate workforce and project reporting
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison between Staff Zone, our employees, and the customer
