Senior Associate Research Scientist (Analytical Development)

R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Senior Associate Research Scientist I in RTP, NC.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Associate Research Scientist I:

·      Perform analytical testing and analyses with minimal assistance using modern instrumental analytical techniques, including but not limited Karl Fischer moisture analysis, coagulation assays, enzymatic assays, and immunoassays.

·      Relevant analytical test experience in a cGXP environment, including proper pipetting (volumetric, positive displacement, reverse) and a sound understanding of the principles of test methods.

·      Proven awareness of and adherence to applicable regulatory guidance documents for cGXP testing, method validation, and CMC development are preferred.

·      Operate and perform maintenance on modern analytical instruments, including but not limited to coulometric titrator, coagulation analyzer, immunonephelometer, plate readers.

·      Accurately and contemporaneously document laboratory work in a research notebook or LIMS system.

What we are looking for in a Senior Associate Research Scientist I:

·      Degree must be within a relevant field: (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Toxicology).

·      Master’s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.

·      Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms.

·      Exposure to electrical office equipment.

·      Exposure to chemicals
