Counterperson

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Sales Representative to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service and support. You will assist customers with their purchases, manage inventory, and ensure a smooth sales process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm

Occasional Saturdays once or twice a year.

Position requires working within the warehouse environment!

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services they need within the warehouse.
• Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer experience.
• Process cash transactions using a cash register, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Maintain an organized and stocked sales counter to facilitate efficient customer service.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service or counter sales experience is required
• Standing on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50+lbs
• Forklift operation experience
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively.
• Microsoft D365 experience is a plus!
