Driver Class D Construction

Unite Contracting seeks a Class D construction driver to transport lumber, building materials, equipment, tools, and mixed construction materials between local job sites. This is a permanent construction driver role with benefits and overtime. Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, this role operates pickup and flatbed trucks while supporting efficient, safe construction-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operate pickup and flatbed trucks safely and efficiently.
• Deliver lumber, building materials, equipment, tools, and mixed construction materials.
• Load materials and construction equipment for transport.
• Secure loads according to safety requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries and vehicle activities with local job sites.
• Travel between a single local job site or multiple local job sites as assigned.
• Follow applicable construction and vehicle safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class D driver's license.
