Job Description
Entry-Level Customer Service Representative – Paid Training
Never worked in customer service before? You’re exactly who we want to hear from.
A well-known retail company is training a new group of Customer Service Representatives for the holiday season. You’ll earn $20 an hour starting with your very first day of training, work full-time hours through early January 2027, and walk away with real office experience on your resume.
Quick facts
Pay: $20.00 per hour, training included
Hours: Full-time, including evenings and weekends
Dates: Starting now, running through early January 2027
Location: In person at the company’s Knoxville, TN office (no remote or hybrid)
Experience: None required
What will I actually be doing?
You’ll help people who shop online with a family of fashion and lifestyle brands. They’ll reach you by phone, live chat, email, or text, usually with questions like “Where’s my package?”, “How do I return this?”, or “Why was I charged twice?” Your job is to dig into the details, find the answer, and fix it while you have them, so they don’t need to reach out again. Throughout the day you’ll keep a few computer systems open at once, take notes on each conversation, and lean on your team leads when something gets tricky.
I don’t have any experience. Can I still apply?
Yes. Training covers the systems, the brands, the products, and the policies, and coaching continues after training wraps. What we can’t teach is patience and a genuine interest in helping people. If you’ve handled a slammed lunch shift, a long checkout line, or a hotel guest with a complaint, you already have the part that matters most.
Is there any way to work from home?
No. Every shift, including training, happens in person at the Knoxville office. Please make sure you have dependable transportation before applying.
What do I need to qualify?
A high school diploma or GED, solid speaking and writing skills, and basic comfort on a computer. Google Workspace experience is helpful but not required. You’ll need to be able to sit for most of your shift, lift up to 15 pounds, and be available evenings and weekends all season. Schedules will shift depending on how busy things get.
What’s in it for me?
Besides $20 an hour and full-time hours, you’ll get Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day off, a discount on the company’s brands, paid training with ongoing coaching, and a team that genuinely celebrates each other. Strong performers may also be considered for future openings.
How long does the job last?
It’s expected to run through early January 2027. The end date could move earlier or later depending on business needs.
Ready to get started?
Apply today. Training groups fill up fast, and we’d love to save you a spot.
