Human Resources Manager

Location: Kirkland, WA

Position Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and employee records. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with 3+ years of HR management experience who is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a corporate-supported HR environment. This individual will partner with leadership, support employee development, ensure compliance with company policies, and supervise the Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment activities and coordinate the hiring process.
• Process new hires, conduct new employee orientations, and complete reference checks.
• Partner with managers on employee concerns, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.
• Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and HR-related matters.
• Coordinate and conduct benefits open enrollment meetings.
• Manage payroll and coordinate the twice-monthly distribution of timesheets and paychecks.
• Submit employee hours and vacation time to Corporate for processing.
• Process salary increases, bonuses, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Maintain vacation calendars and communicate employee leave balances.
• Supervise the Office Manager.
• Coordinate company events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of HR Manager experience required.
• Experience managing multiple HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supervising employees and supporting department managers.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a hands-on role.
