Concrete Cutter

The Concrete Cutter supports road and bridge work, commercial construction, utility and infrastructure projects, and demolition and renovation. This is a permanent walk behine concrete cutting job with benefits and overtime. Reporting to the site superintendent or foreman, this role operates walk-behind slab saws and performs concrete cutting and core drilling across local job sites, with opportunities to advance to Lead Cutter or Equipment Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete cutting and core drilling for construction, infrastructure, and demolition projects.
• Operate walk-behind slab saws and other diamond-cutting equipment.
• Prepare work areas and mark concrete layouts according to project requirements.
• Inspect equipment before use and support routine equipment maintenance.
• Apply dust suppression practices and maintain safe, organized work areas.
• Travel between job sites within the local area.
• Coordinate work activities with the site superintendent and foreman.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in concrete cutting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with diamond saw operation and core drilling.
• Knowledge of concrete layout, dust suppression, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Understanding of worksite safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and teamwork.
