Production Supervisor
Mobile, AL | $65,000 Annual Salary
Direct Hire | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Long’s Human Resource Services is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a growing manufacturing operation in Mobile. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with a stable company.
You’ll lead daily production activities, keep employees and materials moving efficiently, and help the team meet quality and safety expectations. We’re looking for someone who stays involved on the floor, communicates clearly, and takes initiative when problems arise.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise daily production operations and coordinate employee workflow
- Assign work, organize schedules, and communicate production priorities
- Train and coach employees on production procedures and safe work practices
- Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency; address issues as they arise
- Coordinate inventory and material tracking to support production needs
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and help minimize delays
- Support safety initiatives and departmental compliance
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline workflow
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation
- Work with other departments to meet production goals
What We’re Looking For
- At least four years of experience in production supervision or manufacturing leadership
- Experience directly leading employees in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on approach and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with quality systems, reporting, and operational coordination preferred
- ERP, Business Central, or Power BI experience is a plus
