Job Description
Major wholesale distribution company seeks an Import Logistics/Traffic Coordinator to join their team!
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Import Logistics/Traffic Coordinator
- Schedule and monitor all inbound shipments according to PO timelines and department guidelines.
- Track and document vessel schedules, transit times, and delays.
- Ensure proper communication of shipment statuses to internal teams.
- Manage exceptions related to routing, schedule changes, or carrier adjustments.
- Confirm container pickup.
- Support ISF and Customs documentation timelines.
- Maintain shipment data in internal logistics systems.
- Escalate transit delays, missed cutoffs, or vendor non‐compliance to management.
Required Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in logistics, scheduling, or supply chain coordination; proficiency in MS Excel and Word; familiarity with the QuestaWeb platform.
