Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift role requiring at least 1 year of level 1 trauma CT experience and ARRT Radiography certification.
Details
- 400-bed hospital with 3 CT scanners averaging 180 exams per day
- 2 techs per scanner during day shift, with 3 techs total overnight
- Equipment includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32-slice scanners
- Documentation via Meditech
- Performs ED and IP exams only, with a compassionate care model
- 13-week assignment with 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM night shift
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a level 1 trauma setting
- Minimum 2 years overall experience required
- ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred
- License required if applicable
- Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
- Proficient performing routine CT exams for ED and IP patients, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
Additional Information
- Facility is Joint Commission accredited and ACR accredited for CT
- Required uniform is charcoal grey scrubs
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
