Shift: Variable Mids, start times generally 12p, 1p, or 2p and may vary by week, 10x4, 40hrs per week
Weekends and on call required
Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Active UT Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT (R) registration
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Trauma I experience strongly preferred
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- IV certification preferred
Other Details:
- Performs medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician
- A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment; candidates are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer or assignment when available (if a new badge is issued, prior exposure history will not be reflected)
- Skills required: radiologic exams; patient positioning, preparation, identification, and order verification; radiation protection and safety protocols; sterile technique for invasive procedures; accurate documentation and image storage; equipment use; recognizing and responding to emergent patient situations
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
